The most famous islands of Greece are considered to be the Cyclades, which form a cluster of islands
scattered around the Aegean Sea around the sacred island of Delos.
Looking back at Greek Mythology, we learn that the Cyclades were Nymphs that Poseidon, when enraged, transformed into islands.
The broad daylight, combined with the blue color of the sea and the white one of the marble, was the reason for the creation of a unique Cycladic civilization.

The Cyclades are 33 islands and islets, 24 of which are habitable.

Delos
The famous sacred island of the ancient Greeks, a place of birth and worship of Apollo and Artemis. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Iraklia
The island of total peace and quiet.
Thirassia
A small island with many natural beauties.

Kea

Koufonissia
It is a cluster of two islands first inhabited in the prehistoric times. Along with the island of Keros (now uninhabited) they were important centers of Cycladic culture (3,000 – 2,000 BC).
Kythnos
According to archaeological findings, it is believed to have been the first island of the Cyclades to be inhabited. White houses, beautiful beaches and local products offer the visitor a quiet holiday.
Milos
The island of Goddess Aphrodite. The island with white rocks, a lunar landscape, beautiful beaches and rich mineral wealth.
Mykonos
The island of Mykonos is a worldwide popular destination. The unique architecture, the Cycladic windmills, the red church domes and the harbor with countless boats compose a magnificent picture. Mykonos has two important ecosystems.
Naxos
The largest Cycladic island in the heart of the Aegean, with a strong historical interest, natural beauty, fertile soil and ideal conditions for water sports. At the edge of the harbor there is Portara (6th century BC),a part of the Temple of Apollo.
Paros
Located in the center of the Cyclades, with picturesque harbors, beautiful beaches and fertile land. The symbol of the island is Panagia Ekatontapyliani, built by Constantine the Great. Paros marble has been a much sought-after material by famous sculptors because it has the ability to capture light by means of its white colour.
Santorini
One of the most beautiful islands in the world. Created by the eruption of the volcano in 1613 BC. The volcano, the unique iridescence makes the sunset special and attracts many tourists.
Serifos
Its white windmills, paved alleys and turquoise waters impress the visitor.
Sikinos
A good destination for those who want a quiet holiday.
Sifnos
It is known as one of the most hospitable islands of the Cyclades. Here you can find the most famous pottery artists of the Cyclades.
Syros
It is, metaphorically stated, the “princess” of the Cyclades and the capital of the Prefecture. The imposing beauty of the neoclassical buildings, its magnificent churches and beautiful lacy beaches fascinate tourists.
Schinoussa
An ideal island for relaxation and tranquility.
Tinos
The island of Virgin Mary. The largest national religious center of the country. Tinos has a marble sculpture school and museum. Characteristic of the island are the elaborate pigeon houses.
